Collection: Nino Nasidze

Nino Nasidze, born on April 18, 1968, in Tbilisi, Georgia, is an accomplished artist whose career spans multiple disciplines, including fashion, fine art, and education.

Between 1991 and 1996, Nino studied artistic modeling of clothes at the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts. She continued her education through postgraduate studies from 1996 to 1998, earning the title of a highly qualified pedagogue in higher art education. From 1987 to 1990, she lived in Moscow, where she attended masterclasses at the Surikov State Academic Art Institute under prominent contemporary artists such as G. Zakharov, I. Zakharova, I. Chubashvi, and K. Kazubov.

From 2002 to 2010, Nino operated her own experimental workshop, where she designed shoe collections for Irakli Nasidze, a Georgian designer working in France. These creations were showcased at Paris Haute Couture Week. Since 1998, she has actively participated in group exhibitions of Georgian artists and international plein-air sessions, solidifying her reputation in the global art community.

Nino Nasidze's works are housed in private collections across the globe, including Japan, France, Italy, Russia, Georgia, and China. From 2015 to 2019, she served as the Head of the Artistic Education Department in the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia.

Nino’s artistic philosophy centers on self-discovery and the interplay of conscious and subconscious realities. Her exhibition "Access" is a deeply personal exploration, dedicated to her mother, symbolically referred to as her "star shining in the sky." She describes her approach as using art to interpret the absurdities of modern life and uncovering hidden meanings through a unique artistic "handwriting."

Nino’s art aligns with these trends, using symbols and signs to challenge traditional boundaries of form and meaning. Her exploration of spiritual and universal truths offers a unique perspective, engaging audiences on an emotional and cultural level.

Nino Nasidze’s work exemplifies the evolving language of contemporary art, combining timeless values with innovative forms of expression. Her contributions continue to resonate in a world marked by artistic and cultural diversity.
